What you will do

• Conduct short face-to-face customer interviews.
• Observe selected shops and record factual conditions.
• Enter responses accurately in the provided form.
• Submit daily field updates and join a weekly review.

What you should bring

Comfort speaking respectfully with customers and shop personnel; Kannada or Hindi and basic English; a smartphone; local travel ability; curiosity, punctuality and honest reporting.

What you will do

• Research mechanisms and compare solution concepts.
• Develop and test a mechanical or physics-based simulation.
• Present progress in a weekly online review.
• Preserve editable files, assumptions, results and failures.

What you should bring

Basic mechanical fundamentals, structured problem-solving and a personal laptop capable of running a basic Linux-based simulation environment. A high-end laptop or dedicated graphics card is not required initially.

Guidance

JAVY will provide a defined problem, structured milestones and approximately one hour of Mentor Scientist guidance each week.

What you will do

• Schedule meetings and maintain invitations.
• Confirm participants, links and agendas.
• Verify recordings, transcripts, summaries and files.
• Maintain the meeting-information register and report gaps.

What you should bring

Strong organization, dependable follow-through, clear communication, respect for confidentiality and comfort with calendars, online meetings, folders and shared documents. Scientific knowledge is not required.

Device

A basic personal laptop, reliable internet, camera and microphone are required.
